How does the token system work
A token is one unit of AI work. Generating a draft reply to a review costs one token, and running an AI visibility check up costs one token. Your balance sits in the header of your dashboard next to the word Tokens, and you can top it up from the Subscription page at any time.
What a token is
Rather than metering AI by the word or hiding it behind a vague fair use policy, Locible counts whole actions. One token is one piece of AI work, so you always know what something costs before you press the button.
You can buy tokens whenever you need them, and they stay on your account until you spend them. Tokens belong to your account rather than to one location, so a business with several profiles draws from the same balance.
What spends a token
- Generating a draft reply to a review costs one token. Regenerating a fresh draft for the same review costs another.
- Running an AI visibility check up costs one token. If the run fails, the token comes straight back.
- Autopilot spends a token for each reply it drafts, because it is doing the same work automatically.
Everything else is free of tokens. Editing a draft, publishing it, editing a reply you have already published, updating your profile, requesting a sync, and inviting customers to review you all cost nothing.
Checking your balance
Your token balance is in the dashboard header, beside a coin icon and the word Tokens, on every page. Each time you generate a reply, Locible confirms that one token was used and tells you how many are left, so the number never surprises you.
Topping up and running out
- Open Subscription in your dashboard.
- Find the token packs.
- Choose the pack you want and complete the payment through the secure checkout.
- The tokens are added to your balance as soon as the payment is confirmed.
If you hit zero, Locible tells you plainly that you are out of tokens and stops the AI actions rather than half completing them. Autopilot pauses too. Nothing else about your account changes: your listings, your profile, and your reviews are all unaffected.
If you find you are buying packs every month, a higher plan is usually the cheaper answer. Compare tiers on the pricing page, and see how do I upgrade or change my plan for how a change is billed. Key takeaways
- One token equals one piece of AI work, most often a drafted review reply.
- Editing and publishing a reply costs nothing. Only generating a new draft spends a token.
- If an AI check up fails, the token is returned automatically.
- Your balance is always visible in the dashboard header, and top up packs are on the Subscription page.
