How do I upgrade or change my plan
Open Subscription in your dashboard, pick the plan you want, and choose Switch. An upgrade takes effect straight away and you are only charged the difference for the rest of your billing period, so you never pay twice for the same days.
Change your plan step by step
- Open Subscription in your dashboard.
- Look at the plan cards. Your current plan is marked Current plan, and the recommended tier is badged.
- Choose Monthly or Yearly at the top, whichever you want to pay.
- Choose Switch on the plan you want. Moving to a lower tier shows Downgrade instead, so a change of direction is never a surprise.
- Complete the secure checkout. Locible bills through Stripe.
Once the change is confirmed the new capabilities are available immediately. If you are choosing between tiers, the pricing page compares them line by line and the features page explains what each one actually does.
How the change is billed
- You pay only the difference. Move up mid cycle and you are credited for the unused time on your current plan, then charged the prorated difference for the new one.
- Upgrades apply right away. Your billing date does not move; the adjustment simply appears on your next invoice.
- Downgrades become credit. The unused value is applied to future invoices rather than refunded to your card.
Monthly or yearly
Every paid plan can be billed monthly or yearly, and yearly is charged once for the year at a lower effective rate. Monthly suits you if you want to try a tier for a season, yearly if you already know Locible is part of how you run the business. You can see both prices side by side on the pricing page.
Invoices, card details, cancelling
The Subscription page opens the billing portal, where you can manage the subscription itself, download your invoices from Billing history, and update the card on file. Cancelling is handled there too.
If you cancel, you keep your public Locible listing, your profile, and your reviews. What you lose are the paid capabilities: directory sync requests, AI replies, the review request tool, and the deeper analytics. Your business does not disappear from the directory because you stopped paying.
Deciding whether a tier is worth it? Our guide on what review management costs is a fair place to start, and how do I add multiple locations covers the one thing that most often decides the plan for people with more than one site. If you have not listed yet, you can add your business free first.
Key takeaways
- Upgrades apply immediately, so the new capabilities unlock as soon as the change is confirmed.
- You pay only the prorated difference; unused time on your old plan is credited.
- A downgrade becomes credit against future invoices rather than a refund to your card.
- Invoices, card details, and cancellation all live in the billing portal, reached from the Subscription page.
